Yennifer Lam

Yenifer brings 11 years of experience in global sourcing, finance and product development to the Advisory Board. A graduate of International Trade, Economics and Marketing from Saint Peter’s College, she started her career with the investment firm Dreman Value Management LLC. Her passion for traveling, people, fashion and the arts led her to the fashion industry where she has worked the full gamut of enterprise structures from small start-ups to iconic fashion power houses such as Mudd Jeans and Phillips Van Heusen Corp., umbrella to Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein. Yenifer has spearheaded three launches from concept to delivery, covering over 15 brands that range from mid-tier to the high-end. Her work has taken her across the globe; from the Americas to Africa, and from Asia to the Middle East, developing and managing supply chain solutions for different products and companies. Yenifer is passionate about cultural and human diversity. After years of globe trekking, she is crafting meaningful life stories by solving challenges to empower others. Founder of Glocal Connection, a business platform that positions products made with traditional art forms, by companies owned by indigenous peoples. Glocal Connection designs and implements supply chain solutions for each business model unit while supporting their economic development. The goal is the preservation and advancement of these companies that bring antiquity to modern living without sacrificing sustainability.

Natalie Nixon

Natalie has 15 years' experience as an educator on the secondary and university levels. She has worked in the fashion industry as an entrepreneurial hat designer, and in apparel sourcing for The Limited Brands in Sri Lanka and Portugal. Her research and consulting interests are in integrative strategic design, experiential service design and applying elements from the fashion and style realms to a range of sectors in order to build brand distinction. Natalie earned her BA (Cum Laude) from Vassar College, with a double major in Anthropology and Africana Studies; her MS from Philadelphia University in Global Textile Marketing; and her PhD in Design Management from the University of Westminster, London. Personal interests include swimming, dance and anything related to Brazilian culture. Natalie lives in Philadelphia with her husband, John, an attorney.

Lucy Tammam

Lucy has been passionate about sustainability in Fashion since setting up her first fair trade fashion company in 2005 as a Central Saint Martins undergraduate. With a background in classical bespoke tailoring, hand crafting and bridal design and manufacture Lucy has extensive knowledge and experience in the luxury fashion sector.

Spending years in India and Nepal, sourcing, training and perfecting her transparent supply chain, the Tammam label has evolved to be the foremost ethical couture and bridal wear fashion house in the UK.

Lucy offers her expertise as a consultant to emerging ethical brands, as well as promoting and selling  unique fabrics for her suppliers. With a specialisation in peace silks, fair trade labour and resurrecting hand crafted traditions the label has gained a reputation as a wholly ethical company offering style, quality and conscience.
