Bel Esprit is committed to promoting a high standard of ethics in fashion. Our showroom and services are designed to help small companies grow their businesses and survive in this highly competitive industry, however, at the same time, we seek to promote the concepts of fair trade and ethical fabrics to young companies. To this end, Bel Esprit is establishing relationships with organizations and companies who practice and promote fair trade and ethical fashion.

Designers meeting the criteria of fair trade/ethical fashion will be designated as such in our showroom, and links to their pages may be found in this section as well. Designers following these practices and/or designers who wish to pursue these ideas are invited to submit their collections to Bel Esprit for consideration as members of the showroom.

Bel Esprit is creating a marketplace where companies suppliers and vendors who adhere to fair trade/ethical fashion guidelines may offer materials and labor to the fashion industry. Companies are invited to submit their company information and advertisement to Bel Esprit for consideration. Organizations who promote fair trade/ethical fashion are also invited to submit information about their activities and events for worldwide promotion.

It is our goal that by integrating fair trade and ethical fashion resources in our global, industry-wide showroom and site, these ideas will become part of the mainstream consciousness of the fashion industry.
