Bel Esprit is the international showroom for responsible and sustainable fashion, and designers are selected as members based on the ethical principles they follow.  Because legal restrictions and social acceptance of animal products vary throughout the world, Bel Esprit has elected not to promote any products using materials which must be harvested from killed mammals, birds, fish or reptiles.  This broad restriction is to protect exhibiting designers from potential controversy.
