We publicize the site directly to retailers and others through mail, fax and email announcements and advertisements and invite retailers to view your exhibit in the showroom. We maintain an extensive (and growing) marketing database of retailers around the world, and connect your company with the retailers with whom you do business, and those with whom you would like to include. Any information you provide about your contacts is kept confidential; we only use your information to target your exact market.
Our approach is cooperative - designers share in costs with other designers. A preshow mailing to a hundred retailers that you finance on your own can be transformed by Bel Esprit into a professional, attention-getting brochure to a thousand retailers, without any work on your part and at a lower cost. We will create a campaign for an individual designer, however, to help young companies with limited resources, we create mailings, advertisements in trade publications, and PR around a group of designers. The Bel Esprit showroom gives designer a greater chance to be seen, and buyers the opportunity to discover lines they might otherwise miss.
Bel Esprit markets the showroom and its designers "behind the scenes," with press releases to trade publications around the world and promoting the showroom at every trade event where Bel Esprit exhibits or attends. We also look for the unconventional - new and creative ways to interest retailers in your collection. However, your active participation will be your best success.
